2nd Semester Project

in cooperation with Flex

Create an audio entertainment system for Flex customers

Flex Superposition

The first Bluetooth speaker integrated into a rechargeable battery

Luca Fürmann & Eros ( Civil engineer and carpenter)

“You are simply often spread out over different parts of the construction site. That's why a few workers usually can't hear the music. Then there are the different tastes in music. I've come to terms with the radio in the meantime, but sometimes it would be nice to have my own music.”

Idea

The aim was to integrate a functioning Bluetooth speaker into the battery without increasing the size of the battery housing. The speaker should also to be powered by the battery. This would allow the speaker to be charged using a normal battery charger, as the upper part of the housing would remain the same. In addition, users could simply use the Flex Superposition if the battery of their power tool runs out, as it can still be used as a battery.

Simplicity

Main parts

-Reusable upper battery housing

-Flex battery

-Bluetooth platin

-Loudspeaker

compatibility

Housing

The battery speaker has the same upper housing as the Flex battery, which makes the speaker compatible with all Flex devices.

Usability

Additions

One option is an adapter that allows you to wear the speaker on your belt. This enables an ideal sound experience and the battery remains accessible.
